BIAL, HIAL to set-up CUSS by mid-2008

Bangalore: Close on the heels of Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL), Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) and Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL), the Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL), as well as Hyderabad International Airport Limited (HIAL) will now install the Common Use Self Service (CUSS) system by mid-2008. Both BIAL and HIAL have tied-up with Geneva-based the global aviation IT specialists, SITA for the system.
According to Francesco Violante, Chief Executive Officer, SITA, said, "We will be setting-up online and off-site kiosks at the Bengaluru International Airport and Rajeev Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad by July this year." There will be about 30 offsite the Bangalore Airport, while the Hyderabad Airport will have around 35 kiosks.
