Jet Airways launches daily flights to Tirupati, Rajahmundry

The world renowned pilgrim centre Tirupati, and the famous business centre Rajahmundry in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh, will be brought on the air route network of Jet Airways effective 15th June, 2008.
Amidst the thickly wooded hills in Chittoor district lies the temple town of Tirumala with Tirupati at the foothills.
These new flights will be operated by the most modern pressurised and air conditioned 62 seater French made turbo-prop ATR 72-500 aircraft.
The two flights will provide convenient connections to the incoming flights from Delhi, Bombay, Bangalore and Chennai at Hyderabad. Passengers arriving from Tirupati and Rajahmundry at Hyderabad will also be able to reach same day at the four metropolises.
With a view to meeting the increasing demand on domestic sectors, Jet Airways will also introduce two new flights linking Hyderabad with Chennai, one in the morning and the other in the evening.
The ATR 72-500 flight 9W 3555 (Hyderabad-Tirupati) will leave Hyderabad at 1450 hrs and arrive Tirupati at 1610 hrs. The return flight 9W 3556 (Tirupati-Hyderabad) will depart Tirupati at 1640 hrs and arrive Hyderabad at 1800 hrs.
Jet Airways’ flight 9W 3553 (Hyderabad-Rajahmundry) will depart Hyderabad at 1030 hrs and arrive Rajahmundry at 1145 hrs. The return flight 9W 3554 (Rajahmundry-Hyderabad) will depart Rajahmundry at 1215 hrs and arrive Hyderabad at 1330 hrs.
In the morning Jet Airways flight 9W 3551 (Hyderabad-Chennai) will depart Hyderabad at 0625 hrs and arrive Chennai at 0755 hrs. The return flight 9W 3552 (Chennai-Hyderabad) will depart Chennai at 0825 hrs and arrive Hyderabad at 0955 hrs.
In the evening Jet Airways flight 9W 3557 (Hyderabad-Chennai) will depart Hyderabad at 1840 hrs and arrive in Chennai at 2015 hrs. The return flight 9W 3558 (Chennai-Hyderabad) will depart Chennai at 2045 hrs and arrive Hyderabad at 2220 hrs.
These new flights provide convenience of same day return between Chennai and Hyderabad for Business travellers.
Commenting on the introduction of these new flights, Mr. Wolfgang Prock-Schauer, Chief Executive Officer, Jet Airways said,” It is our effort to increase regional connectivity with our new ATR aircraft to meet the passenger demand”.
