More Air India Express flights to Doha, Bahrain

Thiruvananthapuram: Air India Express will be operating two more flights to Doha and Bahrain from January 23.
According to a statement from Air India, these flights from Thiruvananthapuram would be operated on Fridays and Saturdays. This is in addition to the existing service on Mondays. With the introduction of these flights, the total number of weekly international flights operated by Air India Express from here would be 22, Air India Thiruvananthapuram station manager H.A.Munaff said.
The flight will depart to Doha via Bahrain at 8.10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and would reach Bahrain at 10.35 p.m. and Doha at 12.05 a.m. The return flight will arrive Thiruvananthapuram at 7.30 a.m. the next day. Since the new services are commencing from Kochi there would be an increase in the frequency of flights between Thiruvananthapuram and Kochi and vice versa.
On Fridays and Saturdays IX 457 would depart from Kochi at 6.45 p.m. and reach Thiruvananthapuram at 7.25 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays IX 458 would depart Thiruvananthapuram at 8.15 a.m. and reach Kochi at 8.55 a.m.
