Cochin airport signs pact with SITA

Chennai/Kochi: Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) has signed an agreement with air transport IT specialist SITA for providing automation of passenger check-in process and passenger bag reconciliation.
The five-year agreement includes supply of common use self-service (CUSS) kiosks and more than 80 airport connect open work stations for check-in, boarding, load control and baggage areas.
CIAL has also introduced SITA's passenger bag reconciliation and message distribution solutions – Bag Manager and Bag Message - to ensure the right bag gets on the right aircraft.
