Deccan Charters awaits DGCA nod to launch inter-city flights

Ahmedabad: Take-off for Gujarat's first inter-city flight still seems a distant dream. Deccan Charters Ltd (DCL), which charted out air connectivity of Gujarat towns with Ahmedabad and Surat as twin hubs, has cut down its staff at city airport.
The inter-city flights were scheduled for launch by April-end, but DCL hasn't yet got the required clearances from Director General Civil Aviation ( DGCA).
