Mumbai: To regain the confidence and trust of their customers, Kingfisher Airlines has decided to clear the refunds of all its passengers from next week.
Travellers who have lost money due to sudden cancellation of Kingfisher flights will get their refund through their travel agents from next week.
Sanjay Aggarwal, CEO of Kingfisher has issued a circular to travel agents across the city, saying the company has maintained deposit money with the International Air Transport Association (IATA) to ensure passengers get their refund.
Since IATA had suspended Kingfisher’s booking, billing and refund services last month, the airline will now have to sign a separate agreement with the IATA so that travel agents get money for refunds.
