Why SpiceJet is offering fares at Rs 777

At a time when passengers are crying foul about rising airfares, Delhi's low fare carrier SpiceJet is bucking the trend, though for a limited time.
The airline , inorder to mark is seventh anniversary will sell tickets for just Rs 777 on which fuel surcharge will be spared but there would be government taxes of around Rs 1,000. Keep in mind, the offer will open at 7 am and close at 8:17 a.m sharp on the airline's website or at the airline's ticketing counters at airports.
