Bomb squad for tiffin box but not for unattended car

Nagpur: An innocuous tiffin box left behind by an employee prompted the authorities at the city's Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport to call the bomb disposal squad. But a car that was allowed to be parked illegally on the porch evoked a very casual reaction in comparison as it remained unclaimed for 18 hours.
The tiffin box belonged to an airport employee who had unwittingly forgotten it near the airport terminal manager's office on Monday. The car belonged to Ramesh Fule who is the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) state unit secretary and the principal of the Sharad Pawar Mahavidyalaya. On Monday afternoon, when Fule was allowed to take the car away, he had to merely pay the towing charges to the Sonegaon police. The NCP leader faces no penalty for causing a huge scare.
