New Delhi: Passengers stranded at IGI Airport had to struggle to get new tickets issued against the cancelled ones or seek refunds on Sunday and Monday. Many had to wait for hours in the absence of definite information about flight schedules.
The first day of the week was important for those flying on business but with almost all the early morning flights cancelled, their plans went awry. "I am travelling with my newborn and elderly parents. My father has just gone inside the airport to find out when the next flight to Chandigarh will take off but the chances of our getting seats on it look slim," said a flyer who did not wish to be named.
