Gold biscuits worth Rs17 lakh seized

Nagpur: The officers of air customs unit of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport seized gold biscuits worth Rs17,80,000 on Sunday from a passenger who had arrived by an Air Arabia flight from Sharjah. Customs officials seized six gold biscuits weighing about 700 grams from the person. The passenger had concealed the gold biscuits inside his knee caps (knee support) and covered it with socks.
