Mumbai: The Airport police arrested a former driver of a private airliner on Tuesday who had stolen a vehicke from the airport premises recently.
The airline was using the vehicle to transfer its engineering staff from the airport gate to the parked flights. The theft incident took place on Sunday and the driver, Rajkumar Jadhav, 22, took the vehicle to Ghatkoar and wanted to sell it after changing its number, said the police.
The police also arrested the garage owner in the case.
