Kolkata: Two departing persons were arrested after drugs worth Rs 1.1 crore were found in their possession. Md Asif Aslam and Sk Miazuddin, both Kolkata residents and booked on a China Eastern Airlines flight to Kunming, were carrying 86 kg 'Khath' plant from which narcotics is extracted.
The duo had arrived from Mumbai on Monday evening on a domestic flight and was bound for Kunming in China on a China Eastern Airlines flight from the NSCBI Airport on Tuesday morning.
