Normal flight operations from Lohegaon airport from April 16

Pune: Passenger flight operations from the city's Lohegaon airport will resume on a round-the-clock basis from April 16, airport director Manoj K Gangal told TOI on Friday.
As of now, the flights are being operated between 10.30am and 10pm daily to facilitate the Indian Air Force's (IAF) ongoing Modernisation of Airfield Infrastructure (MAFI) work that is being done during night time since the project was launched on January 15.
Lohegaon is a joint user airfield with the runway and the air traffic control (ATC) belonging to the IAF and the civil enclave is managed by the Airports Authority of India (AAI). The runway is closed from 10pm to 8am to facilitate the MAFI work while a subsequent slot between 8am and 10.30am is reserved exclusively for the IAF's flying exercise.
