New Delhi: Television actor Amit Sadh was recently on his way to the US to spend time with friends and family when a religious object part of his luggage at the time became the reason he spent six hours at the New York airport answering questions, claims a leading daily.
Amit was reportedly carrying the holy knife (Kirpan), one he especially got from the Golden Temple in Amritsar to give to friend, when the airport authorities stopped him saying he couldn't enter the US carrying a knife.
What followed was hours spent answering questions and furnishing documents, where Amit tried his best to make the authorities understand that the knife had religious significance, adds the report.
