Chandigarh: Owing to bad weather, the Srinagar-bound SpiceJet (SG227) flight was cancelled, leaving over 35 passengers in the lurch at the Chandigarh domestic airport here this evening.
The flight, which was scheduled to take off from Chandigarh to Srinagar at 3.40 pm, was first delayed by over two hours. However later, the authorities cancelled the flight due to bad weather on the Srinagar route. “We have cancelled the flight due to bad weather. The passengers were updated at regular intervals about the flight. The airline will act according to the policy for refunding the money or for rescheduling the flight,” said an official.
