Kochi: In a bid to end the impasse following the strike by employees at the Cochin International Airport Ltd (Cial), Khullar Hospitality Pvt Ltd (KHPL) that handles ground operations has sought the intervention of chief minister and the regional labour commissioner.
Airport employees began the flash strike on February 11.
In his letter to the CM, Gaurav Khullar, KHPL chairman and MD, has accused the employees of "unionised bargaining" and "extracting in-built overtime from us, within the shift, without doing any extra work and without actually handling the flights, from the inception of the contract".
