AI fight to London cancelled

Ahmedabad: As many as 140 London-bound passengers were stranded for over 12 hours on Thursday after the Air India's AI-131 Ahmedabad-London flight was cancelled after an engineering fault was detected.
All the passengers were accommodated in three hotels near the airport for the day. Later in the evening, these London-bound passengers were taken to Delhi after the aircraft was repaired, and from there they were flown to London.
As many as seven flights to and from Ahmedabad, including an international flight, were delayed on Thursday due to poor visibility early in the morning and traffic congestion throughout the day. Four flights on Ahmedabad- Delhi route of Air India, Vistara and Indigo were delayed by over three hours while one flight each on Mumbai, Bangalore and Dubai routes were delayed by 50 to 110 mins.
