Bomb hoax at Amausi airport

Lucknow Airport authorities went into a tail spin on Thursday afternoon following a telephone call that threatened to blow up the terminal building.
According to sources the call, apparently made through the internet, was received by the airport director office at around 12.20 pm, barely two hours after Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai was scheduled to depart from the airport. This was also the time when at least a couple of flights, including one from Delhi, were about land.
The call, which later turned out to be a hoax, is now be investigated by the security agencies. Sources said that the call came from a number - 301. At the same time, security has been beefed up at the airport.
