New Delhi: An Indian air force (IAF) Jaguar fighter crashed in western India on Oct. 3. Both pilots ejected safely, an IAF official says. The aircraft was on a routine training mission in Rajasthan’s Pokhran area when it crashed, the IAF official says. Initial findings indicate the accident was due to a technical issue, he says. At least 87 crashes or accidents related to the IAF’s Jaguars have taken place since 2007.
