Jet Airways starts fourth route to Singapore

Jet Airways now serves Singapore (SIN) non-stop from four Indian airports. On 14 December the full-service carrier began daily flights from Bengaluru (BLR) using its 737-800s. The 3,177-kilometre route is already flown by three Singaporean carriers; Singapore Airlines and Tigerair Singapore both with daily flights and SilkAir with five times weekly flights. Jet Airways already serves Singapore with daily flights from Chennai and Delhi and with twice-daily flights from Mumbai. Singapore is only the second international destination served by Jet Airways from Bengaluru this winter, the other being Abu Dhabi. This is no great surprise as the carrier is an Etihad Airways Partner airline.
