GoAir and its ex-Chief Executive Officer Wolfgang Prock-Schauer have rejected an out-of-court settlement of the case in which the carrier accuses its former head of stealing confidential information, Live Mint has reported.
The first session of the trial is scheduled for July 17 in Mumbai.
The carrier first filed a lawsuit in court on April 27, 2018, alleging that Prock-Schauer has been stealing GoAir's confidential information during the transition period between leaving the carrier and joining its local LCC rival, IndiGo Airlines as its Chief Operating Officer. Although the executive who led GoAir between June 2015 and the end of 2017 denies the allegations, the parties entered into settlement negotiations at that time.
