New Delhi: The Central Industrial Security Force on Tuesday nabbed two passengers at Imphal airport carrying seven gold bars concealed in their body cavity.
According to CISF, around 1500 hrs on September 18 at Security Hold Area (SHA) of Imphal Airport, a CISF personnel noticed presence of metal in body (rectum area) of two passengers.
The passengers identified as Madan Mohan and Vijay Sharma, resident of Haryana, were supposed to travel from Imphal to Delhi by Air India flight.
On suspicion, both were taken for thorough checking at separate place. During enquiry, they revealed that they were carrying gold bars inside their body cavity (rectum).
