T’puram: Directorate of revenue intelligence seized hashish oil worth Rs 8 lakh from a passenger at Trivandrum international airport on Monday. The passenger was identified as Dinesh Kumar (24), a native of Tamil Nadu.
The passenger was transporting the hashish oil to Male in an Air India flight which was scheduled to depart from the airport at 9.20am. Based on intelligence information, DRI officials intercepted the passenger after he completed the check in proceedure. 0.5kg of hashish oil was found concealed in a shampoo bottle in the check in baggage of the passenger.
