Fog disrupts 67 flights at KIA

Bengaluru: Sixty-seven flights were disrupted on Friday morning due to dense fog at the Kempegowda International Airport.

The visibility standby declared at 3.33am was withdrawn six hours later at 9.32am. Operations at the airport were suspended between 5.44am and 6.49am.

Officials said 45 departures and 21 arrivals were delayed due to dense fog and low-visibility conditions.
A Bengaluru-bound Blue Dart flight was diverted to Chennai. The delays affected the flight schedule in the evening as well.
