Panaji: Two flights were diverted and five delayed after poor weather conditions reduced visibility and made landing and take-off from Goa International Airport risky, officials of the Airports Authority of India (AAI) said on Thursday.
An flight from Muscat was diverted to Bengaluru at 7.30pm due to heavy rain, strong winds and poor visibility. Earlier in the day, a flight from Pune was diverted to Bengaluru for similar reasons. The flight was originally scheduled to land at 1.30am.
Several domestic flights were delayed by around an hour due to poor weather conditions in Goa and New Delhi.
