New Delhi: The customs officers found an unclaimed paper bag filled with packets of drugs near the de-boarding area at Indira Gandhi International Airport's (IGIA) terminal 3 in New Delhi.
The officers found 52 light yellow capsule-shaped packets in the bag. When cut open, drug-like substances were recovered from the capsules.
"The recovered substances have been sent for a diagnostic test. Prima facie, it appears to be a commercial quantity of cocaine worth over Rs 13 crore in the international market," an officer said.
The narcotic substance, suspected to be Cocaine, has been seized along with concealing material under Section 43(a) of the NDPS Act, 1985. Further investigation into the matter is under progress, he said.
