A Bengaluru flyer had a moment of panic when she realized she had left her handbag in the airport toilet. The bag contained her wallet, keys, and important documents. Unfortunately, she couldn't rush back inside as passengers are not allowed re-entry once they've stepped out. However, A CISF officer came to her rescue.
Meghna Girish, the mother of the late Army officer Major Akshay Girish, who sacrificed his life in the Nagrota terror attack, recently shared the incident on X (formerly Twitter). In her tweet, she mentioned that it was past midnight when she, tired and forgetful, walked out of the airport terminal without her handbag.
Upon realising, Girish started panicking about her bag and she was soon comforted by a CISF (Central Industrial Security Force) officer. He assured her that she would get her bag. Quoting the officer, she wrote, "Ek pin bhi yahan gum nahin hoga" (Not even a pin gets lost here). While she had to wait outside, the officer promptly got the Vistara ground staff to retrieve her bag and ensured that her ID cards matched the boarding card on her phone.
Grateful for the assistance, Girish sheepishly thanked the CISF officer and heaved a sigh of relief before taking a cab home. Remarkably, the entire ordeal lasted only 10 minutes.
