Mumbai: Uganda Airlines will debut its India operations this week with non-stop flights between Mumbai and Entebbe from October 7.
The five-and-a-half hour flight UR 430/431 will be operated thrice a week with an A330-800 neo aircraft, said the airline in a press meet on Tuesday.
In the past few years, air connectivity between Mumbai and the African continent has improved and currently about 60 weekly flights fly from Mumbai to cities such as Kigali, Dar es Salaam, Cairo, Addis Ababa, Mauritius, Seychelles and Lagos.
