TajSATS Opens Major In-Flight Kitchen at Noida Airport

TajSATS, India's largest airline catering company and a subsidiary of the Indian Hotels Company Ltd. (IHCL), has inaugurated a state-of-the-art in-flight kitchen at the newly operational Noida International Airport, marking a significant milestone in the airport's aviation support infrastructure. Strategically located within the airport premises, the facility is designed to serve both domestic and international carriers, strengthening TajSATS' presence in the rapidly growing Delhi-NCR aviation market.

Spread across 45,000 square feet, the new kitchen has the capacity to produce more than 20,000 meals per day and can be expanded further as passenger traffic grows. The facility incorporates advanced food safety and security systems, including X-ray machines, goods scanners and modern operational equipment. It also features "The Atelier," a dedicated tasting room where chefs and airline partners can collaborate on developing premium onboard dining experiences tailored to airline requirements.

According to TajSATS CEO Manish Gupta, the facility represents a strategic investment aligned with India's next phase of aviation growth and will support not only airline catering but also institutional and corporate food services in the region through its subsidiary, Nekta Food Solutions. The launch fulfills a vision first outlined in 2023 when TajSATS signed a long-term concession agreement with Noida International Airport to develop the catering hub. With the addition of the Jewar facility, TajSATS further expands its nationwide network of airline catering operations, positioning itself to support increasing passenger volumes at one of India's newest international gateways.
