Flyer dies after cardiac arrest

Pune: A sexagenarian passenger suffered a at the city’s and was later declared brought dead at a private hospital at on Thursday noon.
Siddhi Kumar Verma had a heart attack when he was sitting in a wheel chair near his son who was standing in a queue at the boarding pass counter. Verma had abdominal mass and was flying GoAir to Delhi for further treatment.

“The medical team at the airport provided first aid to the passenger before he was rushed to Paras-HMRI hospital in an ambulance,” an airport official said.

Paras-HMRI’s medical superintendent Dr said doctors at the airport tried to revive him through emergency cardiopulmonary resuscitation, but he died by the time he reached the hospital’s ICU.
