Jet Airways announced the launch of its daily direct flights to Muscat from Kochi and Kozhikode (Calicut) and Doha from Mumbai and Kozhikode. With the introduction of these flights, Jet Airways will expand its Gulf route network, effective January 23, 2008.
Jet Airways will introduce its world-class service on the advanced Boeing 737-800 aircraft on these sectors, offering the highest quality of comfort, courtesy, reliability and standards of in-flight as well as ground operations, for which it has been highly acclaimed.
With the induction of these new flights Kozhikode will be the second city in Kerala to be connected by Jet Airways’ international services to the Middle East.
Announcing the launch of these new flights, Mr. Sudheer Raghavan, Executive Vice President - Commercial, Jet Airways said, “The introduction of Jet Airways’ operations to Muscat and Doha is part of a well planned strategy of the airline to expand its international operations in the Gulf region.”
Jet Airways’ flight 9W 538 (Kozhikode -Muscat) will depart Kozhikode at 0930 hrs and arrive at Muscat’s Seeb International Airport at 1135 hrs. Flight 9W 537 (Muscat- Kozhikode) will depart Muscat’s Seeb International Airport at 0230 hrs and arrive at Kozhikode at 0800 hrs.
Flight 9W 554 (Kozhikode -Doha) will depart Kozhikode at 2000 hrs and arrive at Doha International Airport at 2200 hrs. Flight 9W 553 (Doha- Kozhikode) will depart Doha International Airport at 1000 hrs and arrive at Kozhikode at 1655 hrs on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. On Tuesdays and Saturdays, 9W 553 will depart Doha International Airport at 1100 hrs and arrive at Kozhikode at 1755 hrs.
Flight 9W 534 (Kochi-Muscat) will depart Kochi at 2250 hrs and arrive at Muscat’s Seeb International at 0100 hrs. On the return leg, flight
9W 533 (Muscat-Kochi) will depart Muscat’s Seeb International Airport at 1305 hrs and arrive at Kochi International Airport at 1750 hrs.
Flight 9W 552 (Mumbai-Doha) will depart from Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport at 0720 hrs and arrive at Doha International Airport at 0825 hrs on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. On Tuesdays and Saturdays,
flight 9W 552 will depart Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport at 0840 hrs and arrive at Doha International Airport at 0945 hrs. On the return leg, flight 9W 551 (Doha-Mumbai) will depart Doha International Airport at 2315 hrs and arrive at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport at 0515 hrs.
