BANGALORE : Deccan announced contests and prizes for its youngest guests to be played and won on board its flights.
Deccan head of marketing division Nalin Gagrani said "Our focus is on offering our guests an enjoyable on board experience. As the most preferred airline for leisure travelers, we also fly the largest number of children in India This time around, a lot of families with children are traveling for summer holidays and we wish to offer them on board activities that ring in the holiday fun."
From 5 May, 2008 Deccan will organize "Name a Bird. Win a Plane contest" for children on flights having a duration of over an hour. The winner gets a a miniature Deccan Airbus A 320 aircraft model.
The little guests need to fill up a contest form provided on board and answer a simple question. The young winners' names will be announced during the flight and the miniature planes will be handed instantly. Parents can team up with their kids.
